I wrote this back when I was in college. 03/22/2020. My first post.
I decided to make this blog because I want to begin the journey of a never-ending bucket list and hopefully inspire others to do the same. My first day of college I decided I was going to make a bucket list. My bucket list was going to be a little different. I had a Paraguayan flag that I knew would be perfect for what I had in mind. The first thing in my bucket list was something that I always wanted to do (Skydiving). I wrote that down on my flag and labeled it 1. That was the last thing I ever write down on that flag. Every task from then on was added by new people I met that told me about their interesting experiences and things that they either did or really wanted to do. Each number on my flag not only represents something I aim to accomplish, but it also reminds me of a person I met and the impact he or she had on my life.

I am currently in my 7th semester at college studying Aeronautical Engineering and there are many things on that flag that I will soon do and many things that I want to do but don’t know how. I will routinely post and speak of past activities that I have been part of and what made me do them and I will also write about things I would like to do and new things that have been added to my flag. I am sure that there is a way to do everything I want to do, and I am sure that simply writing about my experiences will motivate others to go out and get things done.

The two pictures above were taken in Paraguay at the Amphitheatre in San Bernardino. This was definitely something I never thought I’d do. Accompanied by four friends, I decided to try something new, and wow did we scream! We were asked to grab onto a handle with both hands while a four-wheeler pulled us up the top of the structure behind me in the first image. The whole thing was very sketchy and the harness we had on looked very intimidating so when the crew told me to let go of the handle I simply thought “why the hell not” and let go. A loud “oh shit”, another “aaahhhh”, my friends down there laughing hysterically at me and before I knew it, it was done. I did it! Another one down for the books. Me being the adrenaline junkie I am, I decided to give it another go, but this time I was told to hold on to the handle with my feet. Sounds stupid right? I said, “why the hell not” and in no time, the four-wheeler was pulling me back up and I was screaming again for my life. Experiences like those are the ones I will never forget and the reason I will keep trying to seek them out for as long as I can.
For this blog, I hope to post stories of adventures I’ve been on and talk about things I would like to do. Some of these things can be boring and some may be simple, but they are all important to me. Please share any cool stories you have and if you want, you can try and help me do the cool things on my list! Please share any tips, tricks and advise from any similar experiences you have been a part of. This is my first post ever so hopefully it only gets better from here.
